Our 2027 Vision · Planned initiative
Turning Awareness Into Action.
Why this matters
Information people can trust.

Sickle cell disease is an inherited blood condition that affects many families in the UK. Understanding it — and knowing where to find reliable support — can make a real difference to the people it touches.
We believe accessible health information, public awareness and open, respectful conversations help communities feel better informed. That work is strongest when it involves knowledgeable organisations and qualified professionals.
We are not a medical provider and do not give clinical advice. For trusted information, visit the NHS or the Sickle Cell Society, and speak to a GP or health professional.
